Shipping Your Online Order

Delivery & Processing Charges (D&P)

D&P is the charge for internet order processing, item selection, packaging, processing, transport and handling. Delivery times are not guaranteed. Shipments and deliveries occur only on weekdays. D&P is subject to change and will be determined at time of order and subject to the following:

Standard Delivery

Unless an expedited service is requested, your order should arrive in approximately 5-7 business days after shipping if ordered by 12:00 noon (EST).

Two-Day Delivery

Your order should arrive in 2 business days after shipping if ordered by 12:00 noon (EST). Please note two-day orders placed after 12:00 noon (EST) Friday, Saturday or Sunday will not be processed until Monday and should arrive in 2 business days after shipping. A signature may be required and additional charges may be assessed if more than one attempt is made for delivery.

Overnight Delivery

Your order should arrive the next business day after shipping if ordered by 12:00 noon (EST). Please note overnight orders placed after 12:00 noon (EST) Friday, Saturday or Sunday will not be processed until Monday and should arrive the next business day after shipping. A signature may be required and additional charges may be assessed if more than one attempt is made for delivery.

 

Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico Deliveries

Your order should arrive in approximately 7 to 10 business days if ordered by 12:00 noon (EST).

International Deliveries

Hedy’s does NOT deliver outside of U.S addresses.

Items ordered together may be delivered separately, and the D&P will be allocated over shipments but not necessarily evenly. Some orders may require more than one package to ship; for these shipments the additional charge for two-day and overnight deliveries would be a per package charge. Returns may affect final D&P charges. Returns for reasons due to Hedy’s will receive D&P credit as D&P was allocated, which may result in a final D&P charge after return that differs from quoted rates. If you request to change the destination address of a shipment in route, an additional charge may be assessed.

The following processing and delivery costs are for merchandise pictured and described on our web site. Costs are calculated according to the type of service you request through FedEx. All prices are expressed in U.S. currency.

Delivery to Post Office Boxes :

FedEx is NOT available for delivery to post office boxes. All standard deliveries to P.O. Boxes will be shipped via USPS. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding when you will receive your order.

Returns & exchanges:

There is a 15% restocking fee on merchandise returned/exchanged for any reason other than a product defect or damage. We want you to be completely happy with your order. Returned merchandise should include the vendor packaging and be in the same condition as when it was received. in salable condition and/or if the merchandise has been marked down in the intervening time period. A pick-up fee might apply to returns of large and/or heavy items.

By Mail: On the front of your packing slip (enclosed with your purchase), note the reason(s) for return and whether you wish to exchange it, credit the price toward another Hedy’s purchase, or receive a refund.

Please note that merchandise purchased must be returned within 30 days of purchase.

Store Purchases: Any Hedy’s merchandise purchased in store should be returned for a refund at Hedy’s where it was purchased.

Order cancellation:

You may cancel any Hedy’s order as long as the order status is "in process." If order status is "shipped," it cannot be canceled. A restocking fee may apply to large and heavy items cancelled after 30 days from the original order date.

 

Merchandise & availability:

Hedy’s.com offers an edited selection of the merchandise available in Hedy’s stores. We frequently add new designers and exciting products to our selection.

We reserve the right to limit quantities ordered.

Sales tax:

Sales tax is applied only to those who reside in the state of NY. Hedy’s is located in New York State, every order shipped domestically within New York State are subjected to 8.875% sales tax. Orders shipped outside New York State are shipped tax-free. Sales tax is determined by the shipping address, and not the billing address. Orders with a billing address in New York State and an authorized shipping address out of state do not pay sales tax. Furthermore, orders with a billing address out of state that ship an order to an authorized address in New York State are subjected to New York State taxes laws.
